This book is excellent for kids of all ages, and it reminds us adults of a time when we were little and wanted something so badly that we prayed to God for it. A great story that you will enjoy reading to your children and grandchildren.
I've never desired to own a domestic pet, but I enjoy reading about the adventures of those who do. Patti's story is charming, well written, and contains moral lessons for children and adults alike. The lessons to children are obvious, but the greater overall lesson in this story is to adults, which is never underestimate the power of a child's prayers.
